One of the most common roadblocks to imagining better is fear. We might lead ourselves to believe that we aren’t capable or there is no purpose to imagining better, but that is an excuse. We all have the ability to imagine better for our lives. Children display a natural tendency to exhibit very high levels of imagination. As we get older, ‘reality’ seeps in and tends to lessen our practice, resolve, or even desire to imagine. We box ourselves into a life, and we tend to stay within that box unless we can imagine a way out of it. If we desire more out of life, fear is arguably the single most effective reason that we stay comfortably within our box. Fear of the unknown, fear of failure, and even fear of success keep us from taking risks to imagine more out of life. Spend some time thinking about what might be holding you back from being able to imagine what would make your life your BEST life.
